  • Love the GTO. Thanks GM. Oh yea. Why did you stop?

  • Had they made a retro one like the camaro and challenger they would have saved the company.

  • I mean really could you expect and anything less? That is what happens when GM hires a woman with no car knowledge but an MBA from Dartmouth to head up their Pontiac division. He first project was the AZTEK, lol. Expecting some broad to understand GTO heritage, is hopeless. Hence why she did what she did best and what Ponitac did and went down under! RIP PONTIAC

  • @1776AmericanWarrior hey, hey now...expecting some broad to understand GTO heritage is hopeless? Well, maybe that broad, but I do and appreciate GTO heritage; I had a 65 GTO a while back and LOVED it! A good friend of mine had a 64 that was absolutely cherry--he had a wife that didn't understand GTO heritage and thought the car was ugly! Perish the thought! Thought I'd just let you know there are ladies out here that could probably do the job right--don't lump us into the dingy female boat ;>)

  • Damm that one at :21 is just plain hot!! Great vid..

  • when america knew how to make and sell cars....over take because they were and still are asleep at the wheel,,,,with pontiac gone it markes the end of their performance line

  • WHAT? NO HONEYCOMBS??? 1973 = badass

  • I LIKE THE 66 & THE 70 GTOS

  • Turn it on

    Wind it out

    Blow it up

    GTO

  • The new GTOs are nothing but a Eurpeon Coupe branded with the GTO name. The GTO is actually the American version of the Lumina SS of which Chevy only produced in Europe at this point. GTO, Lumina SS, and Caprice SS all the same car.

  • are you retarted of course the same because they are all gm cars smart one

  • Agreed!! The brand new "gto"s are not, NOT GTO's!! Period. They look nothing like the GTO's of the 60's unlike the Challenger and its older brother!

  • what a pile of fucking shite!

  • It's a shame that when they resurrected the GTO, they made the body styling so bland. It delivered under the hood but had all the style and character of a doorstop. Very missed opportunity. Now, Pontiac will soon be gone and they will not have an opporunity to get it right.

  • Indeed. Those little 04-06 GTOs go like stink but gads, why did they make it look like a cross between Euro and Asian trash?

  • 68-70 were the best years for the GTOs! 73 and 74, you could tell Pontiac was suffering and running out of ideas for the GTO! i have a 70 GTO and the sound alone is pure heaven! GTO=Best Muscle Car of all time!

  • I sure like mine. I have a 69. Definitely non-stock.

  • Haha, you got the wrong guy here. I have a 70 GTO and it's pretty much stock. But hey, i'm a purist. Check out my videos. And i wanna see a video of your GTO! lol

  • its sad that it eventually became a tarted up pontiac ventura

  • aw... what happened to em in the end? thats a shame...

  • Great Video! Love the GTO

  • Gotta love the '66!

  • The '66 was the first true GOAT and best selling GTO as its own model and not an option package as it was in '64 & '65. I have owned 13 '66 GTO's in my lifetime but also a fan of the '69 & '70 GTO's. Gotta LOVE the '66!!

  • 1968 GTO was awsome when it beat the 1968 ferrari GTO

  • the GTO look to much like the nova's in 74

  • its funny that my cars are on here and i never knew about it (the picture of the black '74, blue '04 and white GMC)

  • Great video!!! My favorite years were from 68-70! I sorry, but the GTO's went ugly in 73 and 74

  • the 66 and 69 ¨the judge¨ are my favs

  • GREAT - love the mid 60's and late 60's ones - they got butt ugly after that..

  • Awesome! I wanted a 1970 goat all my life! I will find a restorable one someday i am sure, Not many left here in Canada

  • i love the 1965 pontiac gto

  • 66-67 are sweet so are the 74s because they are the rarest

  • Turn it on

    Wind it out

    Blow it up

    GTO

389 Pontiacs were, (and still are) a performance joke. 383 MoPars would regularly shit on 389s. So did 327 Chevrolets.

  • Do your homework before sounding off you idiot and then shove it up your arss!!

  • I like the '68 the best. It was the last model before the downsizing. Whenever I see the '69 to '72 GTO's, I always think "Buick Skylark." The '73 wasn't really a GTO, it was a LeMans with GTO option and the '74 was really pathetic.

  • Everything after 74 is NOT a Pontiac GTO, unless a Chevy powered import is a Pontiac GTO made my PMD? Dont be Sheep, they are not Pontiac GTOs, a plastic engine cover that says GTO dont make it a PMD GTO, the "new GTOs" are made by and ship in crates from the Aussies! ITS A FAKE GM LIE! redfan34 plz do some justice and respect and edit out the fakes!

  • Wonderful images of all the different GTO models. Fantastisch. Danke. P. 5*

  • All GTOs are great!!!...

    I love the song!!!

  • Got gay after 72

  • man. anything after 74 SUCKS

  • That song is a real cool remake of the original song. Nice take off.

  • Nice, however the 04 up cars are imports with Chevy engines.... The Aussies made the car put a Chevy in it and shiped it to America, is that an American Legend? It's a fake bastard Pontiac. Thanks:)

  • well gm started the project back up over there they put ls2 corvette motors in them monroe is a part of gm so yah its american they just started building them over there before us but the project didnt even sposed to last that long now the camaro is a new project itll only last a while like the ssr why a project just bring it back.

  • a chevy engine is a GM engine and pontiac is a part of GM so the engine from pontiac would have been no different anyways

  • @ramairgto72 ur right, but honestly in the realm of cars these days that have 4 doors and 4cylinders.....who really cares. Its a 400hp 6spd modern muscle car. You and I both know that true Poncho Powered machines have a metallic baby blue block under the hood, but take it for what it is. Imports are taking over the car culture at our highschool, so anything with a V8, rear wheel drive and 3 pedals is cool to me!

  • Good job.

I own a 2006 - great car. I'm in the process of looking for a 1966 that I could restore.
