One clue: Not only is it best to bypass the noisy DSLR audio pre-amps, it is also best to bypass the noisy DSLR A/D (analog to digital) converters, for example, by using a Zoom H4N, or the new (and it seems, better) Tascam DR-40. But then, we don't need the Juiced Link stuff then, do we ? Completely biased advice from the designer/maker of Juiced Link.
