@ChristopherHeward It was actually three running shoulder blocks, and they were awesome, he fell out of the ring from the other two. Find a full match coz this is truly a great match. I watched it live when I was a kid. Had tears in my eyes coz i was a big warrior fan.

@ChristopherHeward yeah it's bullshit savage agreed to that, warrior kicking out of so many flying elbow drops. i know some guy has since pointed out about the 3 shoulder presses or whatever but it seems so cheap now watching back at videos of warrior not selling earthquake splashes etc when his heart wasn't really in it afterall. I was a kid watching him and never warmed to him. he always came across as a dick

@moley8791 Savage wasn't a mark for himself and realized what worked for business. Kicking out of 5 Elbows (and Macho kicking out of the UW finisher) added to the epicness of this match.And the whole "it kills your finisher" bullshit is myth.A guy with Savage's pedigree was never going to have that finisher killed. And it wasn't killed since it was still over when Savage retired. An unover midcarder willl "get killed" regardless of whether his finisher is kicked out of or not.

This was a a classic Match, back in those days Savage rarely had a bad match even against guys who could not Wresstle for Toffee .... i.e Hogan.

A true sign of a good Wrestler is those who can have a good match with everyone, these kinds of guys are rare.

@arronla That was to boost the drama of this match; Warrior wanted revenge. Well done storyline. Macho Man and Hulk Hogan were the only ones who ever kicked out after Warrior's gorilla press finisher.
