This put a smile on my face, @forgrthandstands, it is sad, part of life, and if we as humans can aid in their survival we should, as we are a large part of there dwindling existence.
The western black rhino was officially declared extinct last week. I personally can not believe that Rhinos, as an entire species, may become extinct within my lifetime. And that, to kids in the not too distant future, these amazing creatures may become as strange and mythical to them as the Dodo Bird, saber tooth tiger, and mammoth are to us. For now we can only take baby steps to prevent things like this, but when will humans, as a species, finally learn?
