so, yes, to your specific point, there IS a difference - the cheat codes only get you to the skins that are included with the regular game. The cheat codes simply unlock the standard range of uniforms for Starkiller, even if you haven't gone through the levels. Dooku, Jango, Darth Maul, etc., are NOT included with the game - THIS IS THE DLC - there is nothing for a cheat code to unlock if you haven't paid for it and actually downloaded it.

@Vidbusters I know but there are character packs as well. They have about 7 skins (eg Dooku or Jango Fett) for 400 xbox points. I just dont really like using cheat codes, but will use them if there is absolutely no difference between what you recieve. Like I said, I dont want to pay for something I can have for free

Anyone want to help me out? I bought the TFU Girls pack and I can't figure out how to use the damn things. They just aren't showing up under costumes which is the only place I can think of that they'd show up. Someone please give me detailed directions on how to access my skins.

Is there any difference between the DLC skins (like the character packs & extra levels) and the ones you can input a cheat code for (Apart from the fact its free)? Only i want the skins, dont want to use codes but dont want to pay for something i can have for free

@RushingRiver117 Yes, the codes just unlock what already comes with the game anyway, which you gradually unlock level by level - each level has its own garb for the terrain, planet, etc. The DLC has the skins for each of the add on levels, plus a bunch of fun ones that are just extras

Would it be so difficult to add a new wireframe that allows the alternate skins to hold their lightsabers frontward? Seriously, that's the only thing that kept me from buying this game and its respective DLC. Throw in the option to switch your lightsaber on/off and I'd have bought the damn thing twice over.

Do you have the ultimate sith edition?? Because I just got mine and there aren´t any codes or anything to get the DLC for free. But it came with two discs. Maybe one is the original game and the other contains all the DLC, meaning the skins and the new maps. I don´t know. If you do have the ultimate sith edition, please answer me. 8)

not really in star wars jedi academy u get 2 play as Boba Fett with 3 different light saber styles(fyi Boba Fett is unstoppable with dual light sabers) & lets not 4 get Robot chicken where Fett learned how 2 use a light saber,LOL

they are a part of the new DLC and are a couple of several "skins"; there are really two DLC packages - besides skins, the other one is the new Jedi Temple level

different, actually. The Jedi Temple just comes with the new temple robes, or whatever they call them. The skins download gives you about 20 figures/skins, including Luke (Tattooine)

1) DLC "1" = Jedi Temple Level (new level, new robes)

that's Darth Sion. He's in some previous video games for sure, I think Knights of the Old Republic if memory serves.

yeah, i agree, i guess that's why they are called skins. with the new DLC map, jedi temple, you get unique cinematics for whatever character you choose, so that at least is kind of cool, but i'm guessing it would practically be a whole new game if they changed the core cinematics, beyond just the skins

well, in the cutscenes for the new DLC map only, e.g., if you choose Mace Windu, he'll be the one featured in the cutscenes in between stages, and he'll also have whichever color light saber you have chosen. The other levels (original) will only show Starkiller in the cutscenes, regardless of which skin you have loaded, if that makes sense

So if you enter the temple with Mace on, it plays out different than normal?

exactly, yes. At 4:30 up until about 4:50, that's me on Starkiller, using walking on the platform and opening the temple gates. Then, it goes to the cutscene when he walks in. If you had Mace, you'd be controlling him, and it would be Mace walking in the temple, with the door closing. Original levels would revert back to Starkiller for the cutscenes, so essentially, there are tons of new cinematics for the new level, jedi temple

you get them all right away.

there is a trick to maintaining the "normal" ones you earn in terms of how you save the game. Because you earn different skins for 2 different darkside endings, and one different lightside ending, but most people understand this pretty easily from just playing the game and how you choose "new" games vs. loading old ones

the timer thing seems to vary sometimes, but its either Plo Koon, or right after him, is a few different versions of the apprentice that George Lucas' studios came up with. One is just him with hooded jedi robes, the other is the apprentice as an "aged general" from what I remember of how the description went

well, that's why they are just skins - no change in the (starkiller) "engine" so to speak - with the new Jedi Temple video, you the skins also replace the Starkiller cutscenes, so you get to see the new character in the cutscenes, which is pretty cool

the skins and the temple level are two different downloads (DLC, costing points).

But, with the temple, you get the temple ceremonial robes, or something like that - its the off-red colored, nicer looking clothes/robes, with the tails
