Look, I'm an actor, and a Russian accent isn't that hard to master. Especially when you're in a huge movie like this, you really make an effort to bring your A-game. Mickie Rourke is doing the accent like a pro! Why can't Johansson do the same?

I'm Polish and I have been studying English language for 8 years with a goal to master the British accent (RP). Let me tell you, once you learn to avoid the things that betray your nationality, it becomes very difficult to return to your original accent, because it's easier for the brain to master just one way of pronouncing words. Not to mention it feels silly/pretentious to speak in accented English (when I can avoid it). What's the point? Trying to be cute? ;)
