to the uploader if I remember correctly there were a lot of anime on cartoon network around the time frame you posted up. I.E. Zoids, gundam, etc. etc. look it up. yes the anime on there now is complete shit but anime was back when i was around for the good shows so yeah just my 2 sense.

Personally, I loved Toonami, and I always got excited when Hamtaro came on (Eh, I was like 5 at the time :p) Since then, seeing Toonami ending, and replacing it with CN real, I really am starting to hate CN. I really didn't care for the animes and some other shows like Sheep in the Big City when I was 5, but I would have loved to actually see them while they aired.
No, now they don't even have good anime on there anymore. It's all real-life shows and wierd, creepy shows like AT. I liked the anime that they used to show on there, and I liked watching the regular cartoons they had until said anime came on, but now it's not even really 'cartoon' network anymore.
What is your problem with anime? CN had animes in the old days too. I don't know about how it was in the USA but here in Brazil it aired animes such as InuYasha, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Saint Seya, Card Captor Sakura, Gakkou no Kaidan, Hamtaro, Rurouni Kenshin... I don't like Naruto or PPG anime style but these are not the only animes in the freaking world, you can't bash something you don't even know like this.

And if you're ever home on weekdays during school hours, they show the old shows like The Flinstones and Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Looney Tunes comes on at 6 AM on weekdays now.

Turner should create a Cartoon Network spinoff channel dedicated to anime. I'll give you that. However, I do not have too much hate for Cartoon Network at all. It's the only network so dedicated to cartoons. These days, yes, the cartoons are not as good as they were 10 or 15 years ago. But blame the industry. It carried great programs during the cartoon renaissance and it will again down the line. Boomerang is a fantastic option until then. A truly great channel.

I really didn't care for the animes and some other shows like Sheep in the Big City when I was 5, but I would have loved to actually see them while they aired.

No, now they don't even have good anime on there anymore. It's all real-life shows and wierd, creepy shows like AT. I liked the anime that they used to show on there, and I liked watching the regular cartoons they had until said anime came on, but now it's not even really 'cartoon' network anymore.

What is your problem with anime? CN had animes in the old days too. I don't know about how it was in the USA but here in Brazil it aired animes such as InuYasha, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Saint Seya, Card Captor Sakura, Gakkou no Kaidan, Hamtaro, Rurouni Kenshin... I don't like Naruto or PPG anime style but these are not the only animes in the freaking world, you can't bash something you don't even know like this.

Okay so I have to agree. But the shows you said where 'new' aren't new anymore and Cartoon Network isn't an anime channel and they don't play Naruto anymoe. Now they have a bunch of really stupid shows like hole in the wall and adventure time. I'd wish they'd bring back some of the old stuff. Or atleast bring back the old logo. But yeah I agree with you.

@TamakixKaoru16 but I honestly don't think the reality shows is suitable for Cartoon Network.I've talked to my 5 year old niece and asked her what's her favorite cartoons on cartoon network she replied Hole in the wall,Dude what would happen, and Destroy Build Destroy. but that's the thing though,they're not cartoons. the cartoons today on cartoon network is just talking about blowing up crap and doing ignorant stunts that they have no business doing on a kids show.

I hope they bring back the good shows!!! Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Transformers: Animated, and I even liked Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi! D; the Power Puff Girls were my idols when I was little! And if you're ever home on weekdays during school hours, they show the old shows like The Flinstones and Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Looney Tunes comes on at 6 AM on weekdays now.

TeenNick; Do the math, all teens are 90's kids. At the time of this comment the youngest 90's kid is 11 years old give or take and most likely have a bedtime far before 12 pm to 2 AM. Don't give us AM blocks, give us full weekday afternoons and full weekends devotions to the first network for kids. Plus, this will also be seen younger demographic who may be channel surfing. Turner should create a Cartoon Network spinoff channel dedicated to anime. I'll give you that. However, I do not have too much hate for Cartoon Network at all. It's the only network so dedicated to cartoons. These days, yes, the cartoons are not as good as they were 10 or 15 years ago. But blame the industry. It carried great programs during the cartoon renaissance and it will again down the line. Boomerang is a fantastic option until then. A truly great channel.

Actually Cartoon Network isn't so bad! It's not getting worse, it's keeping up with the times! Back then people loved Anime...some still do! And now they changed it to random comedy!:) I think it's great! And you could just watch the old episodes on Hulu or find em on here... :/ instead of ranting about something your not going to get back...don't ya think?
