u r right mayureshji to say that, the sitar played by ustaad rais khan in almost every song of madanji was the soul of his songs madanji was lucky to have rais khan as his friend who not only gave soul to his songs but also helped him in composing eg aayegi zaroor chitthi mere naam ki,sajanwa bairi ho gaye hamar i was lucky enough to have witnessed this when i was 10-12 years old don"t u think i was damn lucky for that

you dont even get to listen to such beautiful sitaar piece in today's songs... mann.. the aesthetics of movies has improved, but the quality of music has gone down methinks. what these legends could create with limited resources, with worldly accessories at hand none of today's music directors can create. sad... :'(
