Loved them back in the day when they sang and performed from the heart, let us all remember them with good thoughts. If this kind of a performance continues things are only going to get worse. They all look like they are just going through the motions, don't allow yourselves to be as bad as KISS has gotten, quit kicking the dead dog let it sleep.
@71sleek Are you friggin' nuts? These guys are totally performing from the heart again. They've been aching to get back in action for years and working very hard to do so and get along. They have nothing to do with KISS. KISS replaced 2 of its original members with guys who wear their makeup. That's the worst they've done. Their new albums aren't that bad. If they got Ace and Peter back, they too would still kick ass. This version of VH is an extremely welcome return starting point.

saw halen a few times with roth and the guy is a real showman and mesmorising,but on the way home listening to the tape I just made,I realised roth reallly couldn't sing good live.

It's dance music and black players rappin' about clubbin' and hookin' up. The rest are songs about girls telling guys how much they're losing out for dumping them. The best rock should come from older guys who know good music, actually have guitar skills and can write lyrics that are based on experience and real life.

Unfortunately, the 90's rolled around. Dave lost his hair and his voice. He went from stadium tours to shit clubs on the chitlin circuit, making $10,000 per night. He never made more than that until Sammy rescued him for the one joint tour.
As Van Halen is finished, I expect Dave's "career" is behind him.
