I've got a problem with my HTC Legend.. It dropped the other day and apart from the cover falling off, everything seemed to be working fine.. only recently did I notice that the microphone wasn't working (phone calls and voice recorder) and it won't charge. It's totally flat now.. if anyone could give me any advice it would be great..

I've had mine for several months, my first smartphone, and don't regret it at all. It is a brilliant device, comfortable and very powerful.

It has a flimsy look, lightweight like, but it is incredibly sturdy and reliable.

I wouldn't accept any other right now.

Beware that, because of amoled shortages they now come with an s-lcd screen. Apparently, it is a comparable experience.

@skydark slcd gives a better resolution, makes text easier to read than amoled, so that's an advantage really =]

@callumazoo11 would say htc desire for me as its more convenient for me to upload songs from my pc, more customizibility :)...and android are catching up with iphone apps wise....however apple has its strengths, so does the desire/any android phones...best is to go to shop and check both out :) preference of choice i might say...

some friends of mine who has iphone4 suffers from rebooting and crashing...however i can say the same about my desire....

This phone looks awesome! Cellular South (company I'm with) is supposed to come out with this soon. Right now, I have the HTC Hero CDMA running Android 2.1. When it's time for an upgrade, what would seem better? HTC Desire, Motorola Milestone, or the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S?

Those are usually the biggest issues for most people ! i m lookin to buy a Desire soon at around 600 $ unlocked... seems like a good deal for a phone like this... i d pit it as the no 1 iphone killer at the moment ! keep the reviews comiing! props!

IDK. Usually I call alot of phones iphonekillers nowadays. But apple always has something awesome to offer to consumers and they like always raise the bar for all the other smartphones. Gonna be an anticipated summer when the 4g comes out. Hopefully I'll choose the right phone.

i would reply " yes!" but i NEVER play games on my device! so i know the iPhone has brilliant games and i guess that's the only thing that they can boast about the iPhone.. i never ever feel bored of flashing my ROM or customizing my HD2 XD

@voluj I agree with you that HD2 and Desire has some advantages over the Iphone. I myself used both the 3GS and HD2. But to say that Iphone loses in all ways is a kind of bias opinion. There're fields that Iphone's definitely better than the HD2 (I haven't used the Desire yet so I don't make the comparison)

@Rucsko I'm totally agree about the power of htc, I always say that apple make "bad" mobiles or like the Ipad which doesn't have a lot of necesary things because they CAN, because they know that they will have the same sale numbers in spite of its badness, they are insanely clever in terms of marketing.

Plus the smartphone industry became popular only nowdays (from 2007) and as i mentioned apple makes everythink.. LAPTOP/ IPOD/ OS... etc.

But htc only makes smartphones.... I hope you understood me =P
