@dorkinglad Thanks, I appreciate it. I remember hearing Gaffney talk about the song and McGuigan on "Fresh Air" with Terry Gross, back in 2006. Gaffney spoke about how his own father also used to come to each of his fights and sing before them. At one level, this song is about McGuigan. But Gaffney, the boxer and Irish, is "in there" too.
