@debs222 Unfortunately I do not, it was awhile back just after the release of AOS and you couldn't mark runes there, however a player somehow obtained a rune and was able to gate me and a group of others there. He showed us a lot of cool places, including some in your video. @ Great Lakes

@Y0uEnj0yMyself I played hybrid for a few months. Sucks bad! GM's give away too much free shit to certain ppl. Other people donate and get super rich. Not to mention heat seeking explode pots! Melee is completely nerfed, as well as many spells. The game isnt really like old school at UO at all, they just pretend to be. UO the second age is where it is at.

@bizzyb0ne017 Aside from the explo pots, I'd agree with your complaints. A melee only class has a hard time surviving but shouldn't they, after all melee = easy mode UO. The thing about hybrid is that its an ultra competitive PvP environment, a shard without mercy for the weak, some people just can't hang in that environment.

@Y0uEnj0yMyself Yeah true. But the only reason the PvP environment is ultra competitive isnt because of skill players. Its because everyone has an alchey mage that they 7x gmd over night because it only takes like 12 hours to get to 7x. Explode pots do way too much damage and they are heat seeking. Takes a lot of skill out of pvp.

@Y0uEnj0yMyself lol nah. Hybrid isnt even real UO. All of the skills are modified. I played on Siege and GL, the skill there was way better than hybrid. Hybrid is nothing but a pot throwing gank fest. Not to mention everyone uses sallos and razor.

Yea the game as turned to shit. There are good private servers that let you play before the game was turned into a game for whiny babies to get what they wanted. Your free server is awful. Try secondage or divinity, much better and there is real pvp, not item based bullshit.

I used to play this game along time ago. It was cool until the two world shit came to be it totally ruined the game.

uo has strayed far from its glory days. lots of people still online , most of them do the common sport of bank sitting ;) and as a newbie, you could possibly have much abuse if you are wearing armor which 'Would' have been useful. my suggestion is to possibly try one of the private servers since some are very much like the old uo. look up UO:demise or UO:hybrid on google. i enjoy hybrid but then again its what you prefer.

UO won't die as long there are some people out there who enjoy participating in a "real" fantasy world where people can do more than just kill each other.

WOW and such are just some kind of mainstream phenomenon. Person A plays it, because person B plays it. But it's not real fun to anyone, it's just about being good in killing monsters or players.
