I wish my netbook got 7 hours of battery life! It only gets 5.
About the wallpaper: It isn't the netbook's fault! Win 7 Starter is an operating system which lacks standard features that have been available for FIFTEEN years. MS hobbled it to get customers to pay $80 for a Windows upgrade after the netbook purchase.
Like Vista, 7 Starter is another reason I've gotten off the "Titanic heading for an iceberg" that is Windows.
Nice review! I've had my N140 (burgundy) for almost 2 months now. Yes, it is pretty and I love it. About your sound issues, you might try adjusting the SRS properties in windows media player. I found that the bass setting up too high makes that rattle sound. You can turn the SRS off completely and download DFX sound enhancer. It's free and it really improves the audio quality 200%. It's quite a noticeable change. As far as the un-changeable wallpaper goes (yuck), I'm gonna upgrade my Windows 7.
