Thanks for the offer. My son is an Engineer and Does a set of Cad plans for the machine. I sell the plans Internationally. I sell the finished machine locally. Thank you. Lonnie.
This is great. Have you ever thought about going into business. Would you consider a partner who knows about engineering and materials? No matter what, thanks for the video.
I use a 10 amp charger, so it will charge up over night. It is not ready for big time construction but when the light weight battery technology comes down in price then I will be able to put in a full day. Thank you.
Very nice, good job . That is a landscapers/irrigation installer dream machine. Looks easier to use than the ditch witch. How would it do in our southern Cali clay soil with river rock or decomposing granite dg ?
@bruteforce76 Hi , The backhoe does pretty well in hard ground. If a pick can go into the dirt then the backhoe can dig it . if the pick bounces off then the backhoe wont dig it. Thanks.
in the comments, someone said ridiculous and someone wrote in french because they were too scared to write in english - to both of those comments: you are the ones who are infantile and ridiculous. This is a great product. To rent a regular size backhoe costs over $500.00 plus the cost of fuel, and that is a daily rate, plus limited to 10 hours/day in my area. Finally, something affordable. (But for us ladies, put a sexy guy on it-females like this stuff too, and be girly when needed)
I bought Lonnies plans and built the backhoe. it works great! I have moved over 1000 Wheelbarrows of dirt out of a basement I'm digging out with it, I went total electric with a 2 hp 120v ac motor. it's so quiet you can talk in a normal tone while you work. Thanks again Lonnie!
this is hilarious, it looks like a cross between a kiddy ride in front of walmart and gilley's bull but dammmm it can dig. put a sexy gal on it and you'ii make a fortune
What a great idea, and even better execution. Perfect for the occassional user. Another great thing about electric, as long as you care for the batteries the machine can sit forever inbetween uses. I would think not hard to addapt to plug in electric. Terrific, terrific, terrific. Great Job. Nicely designed backhoe too. Only think missing is mechanical swing, probably not a big deal with such a small machine.
How long will it run on with the batteries before having to change it up again . What sort of batteries does it use , could we fit more batteries than you have on this unit. How much for the plains ?
Hi, I am now selling the plans, I built the machine about 6 years ago,My wife and I have been buying and selling fixer upper houses for quite a while, we use the backhoe for all the utilities, I liked the design so much that I had some plans drawn up, this is my first try at a internet business. thanks , I will check out your site from time to time .. Lonnie.

It would be a little dangerous for kids to use. It has alot of power and would probably pinch some fingers or remove them. Thanks, Lonnie.

this uses hydraulic rams like conventionla backhoe? ok now make a full size backhoe powered by battery and you are onto a winner.
