"Numbers aren't the important thing... what matters is deciding in your heart to accept another person completely. When you do that, it is always the first time and the last." Haruki Murakami
on the macro level - i do not think there is anyone on this planet who cannot relate to this film
& on the micro level it is a wonderful cinematic experience with the right blend of closeups, wide shots, perfect editing and most importantly correct words......
Excellent short film that carries the essence of a Wong Kar Wai experience. Her shot selection and camera work were top notch and her talent a perfect selection. Wong Kar Wai taught me about the coolness in everyday life that people who see life thru a camera lens can only see.

Just a quick question to all you peeps out there who have seen the beautiful artistic masterpiece "My Blueberry Nights".
Some ASSHOLE MOTHERFUCKER with a massive ego problem told me that the film was GAY.
Now if I'm correct, the film was supposed to be about some new girl from outta town who meets up with some guy who works at the bakery.
Or at least that's what I think the main plot of the story was all about...
So how exactly would that film be GAY???
...Am I missing something here? : P

I saw this film years ago opening for a documentary called Searching for Angela Shelton. I think I've been looking for it ever since then.
