It was not that bad, in the post Dark Night Returns, Ironman, and The Hulk age is pretty hard for a light hearted fun hero movie to get a brake. The silliest and sexiest scenes had him going from hotel to hotel showing the doormen a photocopy of the ass of character played by Eva Mendez. I liked it, after watching emotionally heavy films recently, it was a refreshing change of film. Samuel Jackson and Johansen as Nazis torturing the Spirit was both disturbing and hilarious at the same time.

When I saw the ad for this, I thought it looked pretty sweet. I watched Sin City for the first time after that, and fell in love with it. He's right, the pressure's all on Frank Miller's shoulders.
