The Palpatine plays well with Anakin emocions, and knows a lot well of Anakin wish and some way Anakin want to have power too, and Palpatine knows Anakin in some ways is a danger aganst him, if Anakin be in is side Palpative guive everthing to Anakin, but Anakin is more stronger of Sidious, and since episode 3 we see Palpatine shows a big intersent for Anakin

thanks to obi living, he raised and trained luke skywalker, who was a jedi with his sister, and han solo and leia's kids became jedi's and they rebuilt the population, but see how loong it took. Anakin let his dark side get the better of him and it ruined his life. he spent half his life as a robot for sake! but then at the last minute of his life, he saved luke so he gets some credit :D. mace windu did in fact not die. he comes out in part 7 8 and 9, which will come out in 2021, 2024 and 2027

You stated that Ankin had a right to stop Mace from Killing palp to save his wife, I agree he had a right to try & stop him, but not for that reason. Anakins right derived from the Jedi code, murder is wrong. As evil, cunning, dangerous as Palp was, tech Mace had no right to determine guilt & administer punishment on the spot. Once more, I agree with Mace's decision & in his place I would have done the same. Anakins judgement was clouded by his fear of losing his wife resulting in a bad decision

As we have seen in the Star Wars universe, limbs can be replaced, lives can not, Mace was going to kill Palp, although Lucas has said that it was not Anakins intention to kill Mace, disarming him alone wouldnt not have prevented Mace from attempting to kill Palp. I agree Palp in cunning, he already owned much of the Senate, Mace knew this, and that was his reason for wanting to destroy palp. That whole scene was planed by Palp to gain control over Anakin. Which as we can see paid off.

Palpatine was head of state at the time. Whenever you move against the head of state, no matter how loyal you are, it's automatic treason.

If you're a war hero with a medal of honor, and then you try to kill the President, you're automatically an enemy of the state; even if the head of state is a total jackass, or in Palpatine's case, a Sith Lord.

Yoda struggled? He got in Palpy's way when Palps tried to escape out of his office. Though the saber scene shouldve at least showed Yoda grazing NOT cutting off Palp's legs or something since he was a "big" target. That would also give reason why Plaps needed a cane during his ROTJ premiere. Yoda got a brunt of Palps' Lightning Storm, yet Yoda was able to counter it, absorb it & throw it right back at the Dark Lord's beautiful grey face.

I look back at this and now see why it was voted most emotional of all 6 episodes. Jedi fall, Anakin turns into Vader (after being subducted by Sideous), the battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin, plus Padme dying. So why do I get the feeling that the good guys didn't win this time.
