  • I really enjoyed your comments on Sam's Town. This happens to be my favorite album of all time. I liked that you kept an open mind with it. There are a lot of people who aren't willing to do that with The Killers.

If you keep that open mind and take it to Day & Age, I think you'll enjoy it a lot. Be sure to give it multiple listens though. It's a grower, because it's kinda odd. Sawdust will surprise you, no doubt.. It's very good considering that it's not a proper album.

  • This music is so boring and pointless. Like some sort of Coldplay for Indie people. I'm going to listen to some tunes from "The Sound of Perseverance". Poor chap Chuck Schuldiner died ten years ago, because medical care wouldn't pay for his cancer treatment. Fans donations weren't enough either...

    That's "Indy" in my book.

PS: PLs review that album, it's fantastic.

  • By the way, the songs on Sawdust and Day and Age are absolutely worth your time! Watch "sweet talk,"- live at royal albert hall, or "spaceman," live at royal albert hall because The Killers live is something better than what the albums convey. The day and age opener "losing touch," really conveys a feeling of it's own, hell the whole album does, but like I said, it's an acquired taste. Sawdust is a collection of B-sides but it's better than most bands material IMO.

  • Great, and fair review! You should review Day and Age too! Well, that album is an acquired taste I guess (gotta love cheese lol). Good that someone gave my favorite band a fair reveiw though and didn't toss them under the bus!

  • "WHUT?" That made me laugh.

    Great review, man! :D
