i love the perfect chaos redesign! The oily blue scales make him much scarier, he's much bigger than in the original, he doesnt look like a rubber novelty fly trapper like he did in the original boss fight however they should have made him more of a challenge and used a more beefed up remix rather than this stripped down remix. @TheSonicMaster23 Well, he definitely looked more like what he was supposed to be in the original game, a giant water monster. But now, I think he looks more solid and dangerous. In the original game, he was scary, and whenever you came around a corner and saw him at the end of the street, it was horrifying, but you had this sense of, "Yeah, he's frightening, but he seems weak." In this game, he's always watching you, and that was even more terrifying than the original.

I woulda loved if on the bosses classic and modern worked together to beat the boss like death egg robot classic sonic paralyzes it and modern runs through certain walk ways and then comes to a wall jump bit (in 2D) then the camera when the homing attack is exicuted slow motion for epicness sonic hits it but hey the bosses were still good and its a great game

Example 1: In Sonic Adventure he did not fly. He didn't NEED it.
Example 2: Even in SG, Classic can NOT fly through levels.
And now, in Generations, he flies around like it was nothing!
That clearly shows how "overpowered" Sonic has become.

@warionumbah1 Go F*CK yourself (because nobody else will), this is a masterpiece and rivals not only the original but Rooftop Run day-Original and Wave Ocean-The Inlet.
If you'll remember the difficulty of Sonic Unleashed (the HD version, not the Wii/PS2 one, although I own both versions regardless) was very challenging at some points. I could spend days trying to get just a "C" rank. You didn't HAVE to read the tutorials, you could just run past them during the levels. It was very innovative when it came out (I've been talking about only the good half of the game, please note). Sonic Unleashed really cemented me as a fan.
The reason i switched from Mario to Sonic was because I just found mario so repetitive throughout his 2D games (the 3D ones at least tried new things). But I have to say Super mario 3D Land was a nice change from the normal formula of "jump on head, go underground, go hrough castle, beat bowser."
Anyway Sonic is faster, more challenging (you need superhuman reflexes in some of the classic levels), and its also uber colorful, and being an artistic person, the art style attracted me.

You see, over time, after all the countless battles he's been in and the constant running he's been doing and all the action through his heart, Sonic has gotten faster and stronger that he doesn't need the Chaos Emeralds to beat his old foe. He kept his promise after beating Perfect Chaos in 1998, "Hey, I'll play with you some other time." 13 years later, he did that without the Chaos Emeralds, because shit just got real.

@FluffMaster101 That's right. Sonic just became incredibly strong over the years.
- He's gotten A LOT faster.
- He's able to boost (even as Super Sonic he wasn't able to do this back in the old days)
- He's A LOT stronger (physically)
- He's got some sweet new moves
I mean - the fuck, he got so amazingly strong, as Super Sonic he's able to fly ALL THE TIME if he wants to! (Until Sonic Generations, he couldn't.)
Of course he can beat Perfect Chaos without Chaos Power, he just doesn't need it ;)

@FluffMaster101 And about the flying thing - yeah, we all sah him flying around as Super Sonic a lot of times. But until Sonic Generations (Or mabye until Colours? Never played that.) he never did that for too long and only if it was REALY neccesary.
Example 1: In Sonic Adventure he did not fly. He didn't NEED it.
Example 2: Even in SG, Classic can NOT fly through levels.
And now, in Generations, he flies around like it was nothing!
That clearly shows how "overpowered" Sonic has become.

If you'll remember the difficulty of Sonic Unleashed (the HD version, not the Wii/PS2 one, although I own both versions regardless) was very challenging at some points. I could spend days trying to get just a "C" rank. You didn't HAVE to read the tutorials, you could just run past them during the levels. It was very innovative when it came out (I've been talking about only the good half of the game, please note). Sonic Unleashed really cemented me as a fan.

The reason i switched from Mario to Sonic was because I just found mario so repetitive throughout his 2D games (the 3D ones at least tried new things). But I have to say Super mario 3D Land was a nice change from the normal formula of "jump on head, go underground, go hrough castle, beat bowser."
Anyway Sonic is faster, more challenging (you need superhuman reflexes in some of the classic levels), and its also uber colorful, and being an artistic person, the art style attracted me.

@seanw23 you could be right there and the annoying fanboys/girls of 1 another will see the difference between the 2. I am fan of Sonic, but Mario isn't bad either (except what I said before). If they work together (which might not happen except the olympic games --') then there might change a few things like... where will they fight? at Mario's place or at Sonic's place? There would be a whole new experience. Oh and they did work 1 more time... with Super Smash Bros Brawl.

@pegorino1000 sorry if I insulted Mario, but it's just that when I play Mario, I get bored of it fast, but when i play Sonicgames, then I got something to look up at: the endboss :P Mostly at Mario it's Bowser and there is almost no challenge there (that's what I find) but I didn't want to insult it.

have sonic take on Bowser for a while, Mario take on Eggman for a while, and have both the villains team up to take them down in the last part of the game.
it'll be EPIC! for fans of both franchises! right? RIGHT?!

Honestly, why not just ignore AntiSonicEnterprises? I don't really consider myself to be a huge a sonic fan (generations was a blast though) but he's probably just some 22 year old neckbeard living in his mothers basement and tries to be an alpha male to cover it up...why anyone would pick youtube to try to be an alpha male I'll never know, but then again I spend my days going to college, not bitching on sonic related videos about a fandom.
