green screen? more like an LCD projector hooked up to the output of the camera used for filming...it projects what it sees thats why he is always lighted from the front only,any otherway and the GAG is ruined(but i guess i just did that) LOL forget the high tech explaination, smoke and mirrors(electricity and LCDs)

This on the other hand is a green screen trick. Have you ever seen a weatherman that accidentally wears a green tie, therefore you can see the map behind him? I'm sure there is a video of that on here somewhere

It's funny how people tend not to read others' comments before posting something. For the last time, this is NOT green screen. It's projector + ultra reflective material. These two are made to work with each other and only each other. This is why it doesn't project on his face.

Welcome to the wonderful world of camera tricks. He's using a "Green" screen. The board behind him may not actually be green, but it the same color as his jacket. What happens is the computer is set to project an image ONLY on this color. Let's say blue. If he is wearing a blue jacket, the computer will see his jacket as part of the board and broadcast the image as if he was not there. Hence why we cannot see through his face.

if it is real it is a set of nano camera and pixels on the jacket.  They nano camera see what is on one side and then project it on the other sides pixels. So you wouldn't see through the wall. You don't see through anything, you just see a reproduction of what is behind him.

well he's definitely standing in front of a projector (his white jacket acts as the projector screen). But i think it's real - he's actually there. What's happening is he has a video camera behind him which is feeding into the projector.  The projector is then projecting onto his jacket the scene that would normally be occluded.
