  • i tryed takeing a CR250 up a hill once,..... heh ....mistake

  • You are all retarded. If you need parts for a old bike like that call hinshaws or the honda dealer in texas they could build a new elsinore. And no. Keep it OUT of a shed. Ride it like it was made. Just keep it maintained. And i got a 79 and i keep up if not beat 450's. I like new bikes too. A bikes a bike. Just ride and stfu talking shit over youtube.

  • uh-huh

  • Great video. Classic bike. I wish more people would post their Vintage 125cc legends. 1976 Elsinore 125's make excellent AHRMA Racers.

    Thanks for the video wz1musik

  • week

  • they look so gay but probs worked good "ONCE"

  • @wadie626 You sound stupid! Looks so gay but probably worked good???? What the hell does gay have to do with if something works good or not? Get a freakijng brain cos the one you have is not working....it must be straight!

  • @LuckyBlueEyez lol, i mean it problably worked good wen it was brand new but it sounds shit looks so gay

  • That particular model came out in 76, i had one new in 77 but hardly any use that year.

Not very quick by 77 you could have had a Sachs enduro engine develop more ponies and that was 17hp. Fed up of it seizing as well Bell Ray oil. KX125 in 78 had 23hp i had one.

It was 79 with CR250 i had a KX250A5 just slap some 17 1/2" free length Fox air shox on 17" for Kwacka, awesome at 1/4 the cost of a new bike.

  • @jhareng Dumb Ass the cr125m came out in 1973 ur a fuckin dipshit and i own one and ive ran it all day long and its never siezed up.

  • @M0T0RID3R559 Yo dipstick did you ever go to school and learn how to read.

Let me explain to a pea brain "That particular model came out in 76" is correct. Did i say anything other - no.

Theres more to pottering about and racing! Big difference.

  • @jhareng u didnt prove anything dumbass and THAT model did come out in 73 retard i acctually own one

  • @M0T0RID3R559 Wrong that is a 76 model.

Yes they did come out in 73, vid is not one of those, silver in colour.

As said before pottering abouts totally different to racing.

  • sweet i love the old hondas they should do an aniversey thing and remake those bodys with new motors eg 75 elsinore 250 with like a new smoker moter gotta stay with 2 stroke if you build a bike older than 2000

  • This was my first bike, in '78 I think. Fun to ride with the power all on the top, but even by '78 or '79 you would never see one of these on a race track. Totally dominated by the other bikes of the time. The day of this design with like '73 or so ( Marty Smith winning everthing) and that even by '76 they were behind. In '78 or '79 Honda caught up with its 250 which was awesome, except for the rear shocks, but the 125 field was still all yellow and green for several more years.

  • I find it interesting to read about this. As a kid in born '63 in Australia, these bikes were big noise among my high school friends in '76 and '77, and so too the YZ 80 and then the RM 80. They were all names to me, my parents wouldn't let me have one. Ever since my neighbour got an SL 70 for Christmas in '73 I was crazy with envy.

  • i had a '83 cr480. looked like an elsinore and it was easily the best bike i ever owned.

  • can i point out the video date, it was 1998, these bikes were very demanding to ride but very rewarding as well. i had it for 4 years and i loved it. my friends at the time used to slag it off, they all had new Cr's n Kx's but when this 1976 was in the power band it passed them!!! was ace!! i have a 2002 CR 250 now and i am 25. thanks for viewing

  • I have no problem getting parts, my frames Never crack. aluminumframe are finicky. bolt holes become elongated and are more difficult to repair. Kornball...you otta be corn holed by your brother. I bet you voted for Obama you left wing lberal scum. Now...go away

  • if this bike was restored it would be worth way more than any modern bikes worth now!

  • ever think evry doesnt have the money to buy a brand new bike?? maby its all he can get and hes fairly good at riding so shut up and leave him alone jeez??

  • u guy dont realize this bike is from 1976 of coarse its going to be not great compared to a new bike but for its time this was a great bike

  • These bikes were very demandin physically to ride and the engines had to be kept in the powerband-a real powerband you had to work veryhard to ride and it is something that is missing today many of the people riding today couldnt handle it they are spoiled babies

  • @davidchadfish yes..your small bore 2 cycles took alot of skill to make them run,but the results were worth it. i had a YZ465...the big bores had power all day but were too unpredictable..they required that much more to make them not kill you in the corners.lol

  • @davidchadfish IT'S A FUCKING 125 DICKWEED THERE IS NOTHING PHYSICALLY DEMANDING ABOUT RIDING A 125 IN POWERBAND

  • @stevenavigator1988 Older model 125cc 2-Strokes without Power Valves were very Physically demanding. Don't come on here trying to act like Superman, Mr. Small Penis. To keep those little tiddlers on pipe and in the meat of what was a power band the size of a razor blade tip was a lot of work. Everyone don't listen to "stevenavigator1988's" nonsense. Guy has no idea what he is speaking of. davidchadfish great post. Great video. Thanks for posting up a great classic bike.

  • @macjeffsdad Why the fuck should anyone listen to you ya fagget cunt, do you think a 125 2 stroke is a large bike? fuck you got a lot to learn ya stupid fucken asshole they require no demand physically whatsoever ya moron learn what your talking about before you post mr fucken dickhead expert

  • @stevenavigator1988

Grow up, get an education. Get a college degree. Learn how to spell. Get some wisdom under your belt. Your a complete moron that will be eating out of a soup kitchen in a few years. I raced those bikes did you? I also raced a 1987 Yamaha YZ 490.

  • @macjeffsdad You know nothing about me, you are a fuckhead, i dont feel i need to waste proper grammer on you, i owned a ktm 520 sx which would flog the shit out of your gay yz and i now ride a cr250 so eat a dick ya fucken looser

  • @stevenavigator1988

Okay "Steven Soup Kitchen". You will walk this earth as a poor loser and will die a poor loser with people struggling to bury you.

  • @macjeffsdad really that is all you have seriously?.... AHAHAH what a fucken cockhead!!! wow soup kitchen i am really offended hahahaha we dont have soup kitchens here you dick mouth moron obviously since you know so much about them and since your infactuated with them you must live in the gutter next to one

  • @stevenavigator1988 Enjoy riding that huge beast of a bike. Wow a CR250 is such a mans bike. Only a Superman such as "Steven Soup Kitchen aka My Navigator is a piece of Trash" can handle such a Powerful tractor like that. Lmao.

  • @macjeffsdad I see you chose to ignore the fact that i rode a Ktm 520 SX for a number of years and at the time was the most powerful dirt bike you could own and the weapon of choice for the state forest police but that's just because your a fucken hard-on isnt it and i love the fact that you like to talk up a 76 cr125 and say it's a big fit man's bike yet you think a cr250 is a toy enjoy being a walking contradiction fuck head..

  • This bike and it's predisesors paved the way for motocross around the world and Honda's domination of the sport.U get in the shed, and clean it while ur there!

  • the guy below me is a fuckin hater

  • Let me guess the frame developed a million tiny little cracks and this fine vintage bike ended up at the wreckers. Or you toasted the motor and couldn't find a rod or main bearing kit for it.

  • oy honda Elsinores are fucin amazing bikes. deffinatley better than any shit plastic bikes of today !!!!!!!!

  • Yeah they were very good in their day... But the frames of vintage bikes weren't made as well as they are today. And with the short travel suspension it led to cracks in the frame from stress. And eventually they're just so beat up that it's not repairable anymore. Also, these Honda's are a pain to get engine parts for. Old bikes are cool, but not better... I'd take a new bike for riding any day. Doesn't mean I wouldn't like to have this bike, because it's pretty awesome.
