I always am puzzled by comments such as 'How soon can you see van?'

What is expected exactly - a large flashing red arrow on the roof?

It is a white van located after a clear camera warning sign - what could make it clearer?

Absolute scandal. Fair enough, keep your speed down in urban areas, but there is nothing wrong with going a little faster on decent, well maintained rural roads if the weather is good and your vehicle is in shape.

These guys in their vans are out to make money, plain and simple.

@TheEarthNymph It is interesting that you view it like that.

Such events attract all kinds of petrol-heads who drive all manner of powerful vehicles. Consequently, they hammer through surrounding villages & their behaviour severely impacts the quality of life & safety of local inhabitants.

Speed enforcement is just a reminder to keep it in your pants, especially on wet days with driveways, pedestrians, junctions & emerging traffic.
