this scene is so romantic the fireworks and the big hall its magnificent, i love it how squall and rinoa share that love between them it reminds me of romeo and juliet. when i first played this game which was like 2001 i was about 11 fucking hell ! this scene sent shivers up through my body and brings a tear to my eye still. the song waltz to the moon is a pretty amazing piece of music. i think if they were ever to create a FFVIII movie they should base squalls character on leonardo dicaprio.

Granted clouds was definetly overdramatized for the media market in the film Advent Children. But if you actually played the games one realizes that with everything they went through from their perspectives they made sense. They're just different types of Heroes. Which is true. I imagine it wouldn't be that difficult if they used the Crystal Tools engine, which is the engine for FFXIII, FFVXIII and FFXIV.

They have the entire game written and everything.

But maybe we underestimate how complex current games are, and remember how long and tricky FF8 is. There's so many decisions in doing a remake type thing also.

The only problem I had with 8 was the main villian, other than that I loved it. Favorite parts: The train mission, the assault on Balamb Garden, Edea's Parade, and every flashback to Laguna's life.

Classic games are what can change your life and turn you into the person you are if your a gamer, which you don't sound like the kind of person who can really appreciate a game but instead think its only fun to kill noobs online
