just get facebook mobile so you get notifications and messages to your phone in text form rather than always having to check it on a pc and having it take over your life...

In the second school (Im in a new one again), people were real addicted to it. You know...not EVERYONE has a bunch of things to do, or a bunch of people that they know...not everyone has that much communication..thus the internet and socialing networks that some are on a lot...because wtihout that there would be no communication with their "peers" and things like that. i sorta disagree. facebook isnt bad and its quite popular now. i'm not saying facebook is better than most social websites. but those whose facebook account is their life should probably delete( if possible) the account. most people who say facebook sucks possibly havent tried it. i've had an account for 2 1/2 years now, and its not the best site. its just. something to work with

@ChickenOfHeaven It's not bad but I havent found anything about it that would make it addicting. I have an account but its so anonymous that nobody I know would find me. I wouldnt post anything personal, no pics, no gossip. If I have something to tell somebody, I call them. I've seen the problems its caused between family members, coworkers, friends, all because of what someone said on fb. It can be a breeding ground for trouble.

my mom used to ALWAYS get on facebook, i mean, if u try to show her something and she's on facebook, she wont even pay attention to you. But she had the strength to stop, and so do you, and now, she doesn't even get on the computer. I HATE FB! I just deactivated my account. FB IS CRAP!

I check it more than anything. and of course msgs come straight to my phone so if im talking on the phone I have to make up an excuse to get off just so I can check it if I'm not near a computer and have to use my fb for android! Yeah, facebook is a stupid habit. I switched schools in the middle of a school year, and in my old school, people didn,t use it, and it was fine. In the second school (Im in a new one again), people were real addicted to it. They had no ambitions, they used internet slang in real life (alot), they were in facebook during tests and you could clearly see they were addicted. Its a stupid habit really.

@ssikmoi88 go to google and search the words. permanently delete account. click on the first search (which should be a facebook link for deleting accounts) i think it is the first one and when facebook comes up click the the link to the left of your computer screen. I had had my facebook deleted for a month and tooday my family memeber and I were on the phone&somthng made me reactived it...... after being on there for serveral hours my 1st day back looking at others people page,I knew what I had to do for good!!
