how fast do you expect a stock Gti-R swap to be? It only makes 227hp at the flywheel. lol It ran a 12's on street tires back in 2004...not bad. at least it beat a Turbo GSR and many cars back in those days.

@Robcicle I wish you could've seen my B13 with GTI-R motor swap and upgraded turbo. I was using an upgraded top mount IC (with hood scoop of course) and on only about 13-14psi boost, I could outrun lightly modded evos all day long. I even stayed right with a moderately modded, meth injected srt4 on the highway. And, the engine wasn't optimally tuned. I miss that car so much.

I don't think they ever actually made a VE for the RWD platform, did they? I could be wrong...but I don't think i've ever seen it. And I'm 99% sure they never actually made a VET either. But man those VE+T guys have SICK ass B13's. I have a boosted B13 as well; not VET, but Blue Bird DET. Stock T25 turbo, but running 14psi. I ♥ B13's. Especially boosted ones. :-D

They made a sr20vet it came in...I believe the Xtrail but not readily available.....the VE head can be adapted for RWD use Mazworks did it with a 240......and B13's are FTW I got B13 with a VE

I figured they could adapt it to the RWD block...but I don't think I've ever seen it done. But I'll look that up, cool. Thanks.

And yeah, B13's are the shit. I love my SE-R. It gets a lot of attention (when people hear the BOV lol) but it looks stock. Stock bumper, stock suspension, and the exhaust looks pretty stock as well.

Yeah I love the sound of my VVL kicking.... I'm gonna do the VE+T in January jsut tryin to piece it together...hoping for 250 hp....maybe you should check into the VE head on the DE block and run a VE+T that way..... could be bad ass and save some money

Dude, I'm not bein' a dick or anything...but you don't need a 6puck clutch with an NA car. I mean, even a boosted car with stock tranny is going to fuck up a trans REAL quick. Don't get me wrong, sounds like you have a sweet B14...just sayin' watch out for that tranny. Or at least make sure your gear oil is fresh and clean.

i've been driving on the 6 puck sprung clutch for a while now and it hasn't seem to mess up the trans yet. the only reason that i can think of that is a major factor to transmission breakage is back mount, wheel hop cause bad suspension, the crossmember bolts are loose, my nx2000 broke three transmission in 1 year or half a year and it didn't even have a 6 puck. i don't know we'll see if my sentra can hold it's transmission for long.

actually, in the first run the GSR took off before he was supposed to and the SER chased him and caught him at the end. the second run was the rematch and it was an even start and he got walked. not by luck, maybe he can't drive or car not as fast. the GSR was the one that didn't pay up and kept driving after the run.
