My Linux beats yours. Compiz sucks. I have virtual machines. And I have another comp w/ windows xp. So I don't need vm:s. Second comp is next to my Debian linux pc.
too bad the audio is missing (even though there is good software to record a Linux desktop _with_ audio) and this is more a commercial for Compiz than for Linux
First, I dont think linux can be refered to as "a Linux". But to answer your question on how difficult..... It depends. If you choose some obscure flavor ( different Distributions) that has little comunity support, than yes it will be hard. But if u stick to one of the big names, there is a great comunity that comes with them, people who are always willing to help. So if you want to try linux, i would recomend ubuntu or suse, but either way, Good Luck
You know that you don't have to buy a new computer to run Linux, right? You can just select whether you'd like to start Linux or your other OS at boot.
my linux beats yours
my laptop beats your anything: quad boot of Win7, XP, funtoo linux, OSX

1.) You are somewhat arrogant.
2.) Your desktop is extremely bloated.

Is that a widget that causes those pops-ups for quick launch icons or is it an emerald theme? Can you please let me know?
