no, since the rules for sneak attacks means that you roll an extra 1d6 (aka 1 six-sided die) for damage, along with the normal damage (in this case the 1d6 of the shortsword and the 1d6 of the sneak attack add up to 2d6, making the total damage 2-12)

By my definition D&D, Comic Books, Excessive interest in random trivia, MMOs, Cosplay, most Techies, Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, Farscape, Doctor Who, et al. are all activities of geeks. IMO I use the word geek with no negativity what so ever its the equivilent of describing someone as having brown hair its not a negative comment just an observation.
