I began reading this series in the second/third grade. I was always a strong reader. :p anyway the teacher told me I shouldnt read them because she thought they were going to be too hard. I decided not to listen and read them anyway.

God Bless Nickelodeon and Disney in the 90s! They both are some of the best programming ever back in the 90s! I love being a 90s kid and I feel bad for the kids that have to watch the new shows and not watch the shows that I grew up with!

I still own every single book, #1-54, plus all Megamorphs, Alternamorphs, and special books like Andalite Chronicles. I remember going out and buying every new book the day it came out, and finished it that day.... I hated waiting for the next one then :)
So sad that Nickolodeon cut off the show. :( I heard it was because Animorphs was too violent and scary for the usual crowd (4-year-olds. -.-) Should've put it on a different channel.
@Daddyzgrl1 thats what they claim but alot of people speculate because the show got alot of backlash from the fans complaining about the changes from the book and that Nickolodeon used that as an excuse

I would be so thrilled if SOMEONE would remake this wonderful series!!! I simply do not understand, out of all the television broadcasting companies out there, why no one has thought to bring this show back! It's a really great show with lots of important messages for young teens! its really sad they cancelled the show before it even had an ending, i remembered when they showed this on YTV i was six and i fucking loved it! Honestly this wouldve been really good if there was a full version.

Yeah, I read the last book. One of them dies, one of them is alive for sure, and for the rest, you don't know if they die or not because it ends in a cliffhanger.
@happygirl43562 This is the best decription that I have heard of the way the books end. I had the exact same take on it. It is too bad that the series ended this way as I thought it could have gone on for a long time. I tried to read the next series that the author wrote (something about a parallel universe) and didn't like it. Read two of the books and got totally turned off from it.
@aadamsday Yeah, I read these books when I was in Fifth Grade. I'm only 13, so it was really hard to find all the books. I just couldn't take it and read the last one. I absolutely hated the ending. I heard that she wrote another series, but I just didn't want to read it.
@xxhittmanxx tobias was stuck as a hawk through most of the show but towards the end he regained the ability to morph but his main form was still a hawk therefore he could become his human self for 2 hours at a time
I just read about this today so I don't know all the details. Anyway, it occurred to me that since Tobias regained the ability to morph after being stuck as a hawk for so long, couldn't he have just gotten stuck as a human and then regain the ability to morph a third time? Just thought you might be able to explain this to me.
@collegerebel no he would be stuck as a human as a nothlit for good. The Ellimist wouldn't help him again, and he wouldn't be able to morph - he'd be out of the fight. Besides by then he had become more hawk than human inside. It's complicated but there was a part inside of him that wanted to be trapped as a hawk to begin with. He's been fighting with himself as to whether he did it on purpose or not for the entire book series.
well that would have been really awesome but it happened with the andalite disk and, if I remember it correctly, a hologram of Elfangor warned him that if he became stuck as a human again he would lose his morphing powers forever this time. Hope that helps. (P.S. Sorry it took me so long to respond.)
I remember I was introduced to this about 3 years ago when I checked out some Animorphs books from my school's library. I absolutely wish I could've been around to watch the series as it aired on Nickelodian. It looks really interesting.

You know what would have been weird, yet possibly awesome? If the buffalo and ant that were able to morph actually stayed. I mean, the buffalo was already learning how to talk, but they both died.
I like the series despite the differences to the books. Sadly it wasnt aired in my country and the books were only published till book #30 of the main-series, #3 of the megamorphs and the adventure book. I got all of them and even got some english ones, but i really wished they would continue to publish them in germany and finally make an german dub.

i think that if they really revive the series, they should go for an animated show and are it on adult swim... one of the biggest problems with this show was that they toned down the darker elements of the series so teh kiddies wouldn't be traumatised.

I believe this show would have lasted much longer if it wasn't shown on Nick. Maybe ABC family would have been a better choice, kind of like Power Rangers.

Yeah, I read the last book. One of them dies, one of them is alive for sure, and for the rest, you don't know if they die or not because it ends in a cliffhanger.

@happygirl43562 This is the best decription that I have heard of the way the books end. I had the exact same take on it. It is too bad that the series ended this way as I thought it could have gone on for a long time. I tried to read the next series that the author wrote (something about a parallel universe) and didn't like it. Read two of the books and got totally turned off from it.

@aadamsday Yeah, I read these books when I was in Fifth Grade. I'm only 13, so it was really hard to find all the books. I just couldn't take it and read the last one. I absolutely hated the ending. I heard that she wrote another series, but I just didn't want to read it.

@xxhittmanxx tobias was stuck as a hawk through most of the show but towards the end he regained the ability to morph but his main form was still a hawk therefore he could become his human self for 2 hours at a time

I just read about this today so I don't know all the details. Anyway, it occurred to me that since Tobias regained the ability to morph after being stuck as a hawk for so long, couldn't he have just gotten stuck as a human and then regain the ability to morph a third time? Just thought you might be able to explain this to me.

@collegerebel no he would be stuck as a human as a nothlit for good. The Ellimist wouldn't help him again, and he wouldn't be able to morph - he'd be out of the fight. Besides by then he had become more hawk than human inside. It's complicated but there was a part inside of him that wanted to be trapped as a hawk to begin with. He's been fighting with himself as to whether he did it on purpose or not for the entire book series.

well that would have been really awesome but it happened with the andalite disk and, if I remember it correctly, a hologram of Elfangor warned him that if he became stuck as a human again he would lose his morphing powers forever this time. I remember I was introduced to this about 3 years ago when I checked out some Animorphs books from my school's library. I absolutely wish I could've been around to watch the series as it aired on Nickelodian. It looks really interesting.

@seinfeldfan7898 they sort of ruined it a bit. i like the show but i only got three episodes in before i got disgusted for them making too many changes. from the very start they edit the show beyond redemption. but i guess if you can get around that it could be a good show. XD

I like the series despite the differences to the books. Sadly it wasnt aired in my country and the books were only published till book #30 of the main-series, #3 of the megamorphs and the adventure book. I got all of them and even got some english ones, but i really wished they would continue to publish them in germany and finally make an german dub.

Inzwischen hab ich natürlich auch einige der englischen Bücher gelesen und mich generell über das Ende upgedatet, aber irgendwie verdamm ich Ravensburger immer noch, dass sie's nie weiter übersetzt haben. Naja, vielleicht kriegen wir ja noch eine Chance, in den USA werden die Bücher grad neu gedruckt. Wenn der Relaunch erfolgreich ist, wird's vielleicht auch bei uns wieder aktuell

i think that if they really revive the series, they should go for an animated show and are it on adult swim... one of the biggest problems with this show was that they toned down the darker elements of the series so teh kiddies wouldn't be traumatised.
