when he's in form sorry let me re fraise that when he has confidence and is allowed to be the player he wants to be without people questioning his technique I rate him more than an inform Warner who is a hit or miss player at his best, Hughes at his best is a hundred every 3 innings player.

Very interesting watching his confidence in this older innings compared to him now. The same sort of delivery that he's been edging to slip used to get thrashed over the cordon, or simply cut square. That does look like loss of confidence doesn't it?

He's young, he's got time to work things out and get back in the side if he's good enough.

Hard to believe, all of the people who knock Hughes, that he was dropped only 3 tests later! Thankfully the chairman of selectors, Hilditch, is gone along with all of the other panel. How many are fans of their decisions? Hilditch has a lot to answer for in creating doubt in this magnificent young batsman's mind. See you later Hilditch.
