This game is classic, but after watching this, i cant watch anymore of your vids.
LucasArts did a fantastic job on this game. A great variety of enemies, a simple and fun core mechanic, plenty of weapon variety, excellent challenge, and one of the best soundtracks from the 16bit era. Pick it up on Virtual Console if you want a fun two player game that holds up well to repeated play.
There, I just reviewed the game far more effectively and articulately. Not too fucking hard.
Also, I forgot to mention, that the game's name is actually part of Monsters. The original beta title for Zombies ate my neighbors was Monsters, and they should have kept it that way!

P.S.S. losing the neighbours is DEADLY because you have only 10 of them for whole game and they are hard to replenish. Losing all of them you lose the game. Learn the game deeper before cast so stupid commentaries

@AfrojacX I played it on Sega, it was still fun haven't played the Snes one. As for remakes, there's an Xbox game called Monster Madness that kinda plays like it. If i have time I'll take a look at it but I heard bad reviews. On PS1 there was a game called Herc's adventure which played just like Z.A.M.N, only set in ancient Greece. However if they do an HD remake of it I will definetly be down to buy it as long as they put up to 4-players.
Again, this make no sense. "I need a bigger gun" does that mean the zombie didn't die? Atleast we never see the zombie again.. oh wait, it was looking for brains, that must be the reason it left your horrible by via satellite "show" that cut the phone line yet it still rings after a minute.. only twice though and then again after 30 seconds, hmm..
Also, the ending of the game seems cool compared to the usual "rolling credits" one.

You work well and make good reviews and while I am too an AVGN fan I think people should stop coplaining about the similarities or saying "he copied avgn" all the time. They can be similar but with diferent strong points, try to accept that and enjoy both shows

I admit, the language is strong, but I feel he discusses games more in depth than anyone on the internet. Angry Video Game Nerd only talks about gltiches and difficulty while CGR only discusses history and fun parts of games. This guy talks about stuff you wouldn't think to ask about.

@jeager1999 the entire concept is a rip off. Reviewing so-called bad games with a bad temper, swearing etc. There is nothing original with this guy. And unlike the Nerd who naturally finds flaws in bad games to complain about, this guy makes up his own flaws to bitch about. Once he complained that one game doesn't have a back-story and that the story is told in the manual but he doesn't want to read it cause he doesn't want to waste time reading text. So its not the game thats flawed..he is.

@AdmireRoxtars Makes up Flaws? Well, the Nerd has done that. He over exaggerated Castlevania for the 64. The part about how he couldn't put the Magic Nitro Down near the wall or how the Camera Angles sucks. He didn't even bring up the fact you had to Push the Right C button in order to place the bomb down. In fact, you had to press the R-C button to Open Downs, Pick up Items, Read Signs and save. To me, it sounded like he wanted to Make Castlevania 64 look like a bad game.

@jeager1999 ye but the difference is that the Nerd never tells you the answer to that, giving the impression that he doesn't know how to do it. He never says that you can read how to do it in the manual or on the internet, making HIM the one who is bad at playing the game and not the game that is bad. But with Irate he says the back-story to the game is in the manual but since the back-story is not in the game itself and that he is too lazy to read, its according to him the game thats flawed.

This game is AWESOME. I've spent a lot of happy time playing this game 10 years ago. Especially it is cool in 2-player mode. It is very dinamic and varied.
P.S. kill ants with bazooka
P.S.S. losing the neighbours is DEADLY because you have only 10 of them for whole game and they are hard to replenish. Losing all of them you lose the game. Learn the game deeper before cast so stupid commentaries

@AfrojacX I played it on Sega, it was still fun haven't played the Snes one. As for remakes, there's an Xbox game called Monster Madness that kinda plays like it. If i have time I'll take a look at it but I heard bad reviews. On PS1 there was a game called Herc's adventure which played just like Z.A.M.N, only set in ancient Greece. However if they do an HD remake of it I will definetly be down to buy it as long as they put up to 4-players.

Again, this make no sense. "I need a bigger gun" does that mean the zombie didn't die? Atleast we never see the zombie again.. oh wait, it was looking for brains, that must be the reason it left your horrible by via satellite "show" that cut the phone line yet it still rings after a minute.. only twice though and then again after 30 seconds, hmm..
Also, the ending of the game seems cool compared to the usual "rolling credits" one.

While i love Zombies ate my neighbors i've come to really like your videos. I found about you today and watched to first season no-stop.
You work well and make good reviews and while I am too an AVGN fan I think people should stop coplaining about the similarities or saying "he copied avgn" all the time. They can be similar but with diferent strong points, try to accept that and enjoy both shows
Aside from that, good work Chris! keep it up because i'll keep watching (^^)b
