It' s like a prayer from michael ! I' m very sure it's dedicate for him this beautifull song !!! spiritual version !! , God bless you Michael, wherever you are !!
This was real good. Talk about harmony!!! If they only could go on like this.... The original members just them, no JD! JD is great singer, but dosen`t fit in to this band.
A true inspiration. Heavenly harmony by the McClymont sisters, some of the pauses seem to give a nod to where Michael would have ran the ball down the field 4sure. By the time the horn comes in I was 100% sold. Amazing re-issue of the 1982 classic. This song from Shabooh Shoobah is still my favorite and still sounds fresh after 29years.
Wow !!!!! what a great sound !!!!! love the acoustic guitar ....so clean.... and 6 incredible voices all very talented Australians. Just heard it on the radio and hoped someone had you tubed it.Thanks for posting this a real pleasure to listen too.
THIS IS HEARTBREAKING TO WATCH .......MICHAEL SHOULD BE THERE SINGING THIS BEAUTIFUL RE-ISSUE ! ! ! R.I.P BEAUTIFUL ANGEL... 13 years feels like 13 days since you departed.....xxx
I love this slower version and those McClymont sisters have sung at our Country Music festival over the years on Norfolk Island well at least i think all 3 have been here and yes they sound great
I love this song; both the instrumental and lyrics. It's very healing. I think it's a good song for anybody who has had a bad relationship in one form or another. It's as if the song is saying; "take your hate and all the bad things you did towards me, I'm gonna let it go and be happy, good luck" I think in some ways they represent the forgiving aspect of the aussie people in this song. As they say alot "no worries" Thanks INXS for the song, although I doubt you'll ever read this aha :)
I loved the original version but this has to be the most amazing version of Dont change i have ever heard. It is totally made so great by the beautiful backing vocals of the McClymont sisters. Most beautiful harmonies i have ever heard.
I think the lovely ladies providing harmonies deserve a mention......The McClymonts, 3 sisters from Grafton who are one of Australia's most talented Country artists.
@C6Sheila Definitely agree. Their harmonies provide that lovely, soft, yet haunting foundation to the song. I did not know they were sisters. Off to check out some of their music now.
Totally blew me away on my first watch. The change of pace, compared to the original is brilliant. I didn't know the other band members could sing an entire song without Michael/JD.
Purchased the album "Original Sin". Unfortunately the revamped "Original Sin" song with Rob Thomas sounds more like a Ricky Martin piece. I still can't get into after 4 listens. Some of the other remakes are very creative and interesting to listen too.
Just "grounding".

Can't begin to imagine the memories that are flowing through all of their minds of their lost friend as their harmonies blend seamlessly without him
