I think this masterwork song can be properly performed only by Metallica, and them alone. Many artists in the world cover this song every day, and it is a good thing, perhaps some versions are better than others, but eventually only James Hetfield's voice is able to gently carry my soul to the distant shores of peace and bliss that will make me love this piece of art for the rest of my life.
