One thing that I really like about this performance is you can really hear the accordion when Richard's playing it. In some performances you can't hear the accordion at all, on the cd you can hear it but just barely and it really adds nice music to this song!

I'm disgusted to say there was a time when I didnt like Arcade Fire. Now they are one of my favourite bands and I listen to them every single day. They make music like no one else I have ever heard and looking back, I cant believe I was so blind. New album is amazing as well.

@Ninety6DBfreak Yeah, one thing that caught a lot of people's attention at that concert were the boots that Regine was wearing. Haha! But yeah, that truly was one of their best. Another unforgettable version of this song was when they did it with David Bowie on "Fashion Rocks" in 2005.

What is it about Arcade Fire that touches us all so deeply and profoundly? Sure, the music and orchestration; the lyrics which resonate in anyone who has known darkness and found hope in capturing isolated moments of joy and expanding them through whatever means possible. More so the feeling one gets that the only reward they require is to create and share this music. Most of all though is the undeniable appeal of genius and humility on the same stage.
