it is true that much of the power company's concern is in delivery and metering of the power used. the actual part of making the power is not so involved ... or if it is its because they are again trying to mass produce and do so in a way that is conducive to measurable delivery. under this idea, we should have the ability to produce some of our own power for personal use.

Still, something has evolved which is quite marketable and most people around the world would wonder what to do without this market. We have always had the ability to generate our own power (if not free) locally, but to have the convenience of a power network is more conducive to public preference.

Anything in the public domain is open to abuse so monitoring (or metering) is a key factor..

Any 1st year engineer will tell you that this is a crazy voltage step up device, but it does not provide 'free' energy or over-unity capability. It's cute, but voltage changes do not show energy gain. Take the battery out and it will slowly come to a stop.

No, what this does is inspire a generation to go to work on solving an energy problem. I was never interested in electronics until I saw a fake perendev motor on youtube. Now I sit down and try to find something else or try to figure out how to get it to work. Many of the people that initially start with something like this take on other projects INCLUDING energy storage, so, as an EE, you should be trying to promote your profession instead of attempting to dishearten others.

he probably only uses the battery for the cold start, because its locked rotor(if u know what that means, after it gets goin its actually producin power for it self, my teacher told me that any kind of motor, if it aint consuming its makin power(a motor is just like a generator), so thats what i think, the fan makes power for it self
