Ovechkin is still a kid and never complains about being hurt, except when its really serious which it never is because he's a beast. And Ovechkin is under just as much pressure to try and defend the awards he has won, and make amazing goals like this to make the fans happy.

Those downplaying this goal are ridiculous. I think Ovechkin's career proves that luck has nothing to do with it. From the spin to play the puck off the boards, to the one handed stickhandle with his weak hand shouldering off the defender and then the finish making the goalie shift and banging it off his pad on the opposite side of the net. That was an amazing play plus the guy was moving! You guys who say it is no big deal probably have slow internet connections among other slow things.
