unless im incorrect, which i may be. . . i think when you play double strokes like that you are naturally doing the heel-toe technique. ball of your foot for the first stroke and then you let the back of your foot drop for the second stroke.

I'm using flatfoot currently, but doing my best to switch to proper heeltoe doubles, because it's way easier to have kicks with precision and power with heeltoe. It's really simple once you get a hold of it, too. I thought it was hard until I figured out how simple it actually is.
