I hope Harvey Levin has made people aware that bigotry, hate and lack of respect for each other due to a difference of opinion, race, religion,political differences or choice they make is wrong. If someone hates for these reasons, they will never change, but if someone just goes along with the crowd and never took a stand, they might change. I don't agree with him on many levels, but I respect his right to voice them.

@Simon839 i felt that way too at first, but i kinda see tmz as an extension of celebrity justice- where we get to see how celebrities are treated in court. the argument is that tmz, unlike supermarket tabloids or entertainment tonight, is based on facts & don't cater to publicists. it reports celeb news as if it was cnn news, so i see it as the lesser of all the evils.

@Simon839 -Harvey does NOT stalk celebs. His camera people get fired if they stalk or harrass - if they are asked to stop, they stop or they lose their jobs. Harvey has talked about this. I hardly think he is "catering to the lowest common denominator on television" - as a matter of fact they were the first celeb news agency that refused to be the publicists puppet, as well as pay for interviews. I see no harrassment on TMZ, I see a awesome Boss and crew enjoying what they do, and it's Fab!

I taught first grade in a poverty-stricken neighborhood of South-Central Los Angeles for six years, took a break to serve in the Peace Corps in Ivory Coast (West Africa), then returned and taught at an inner-city high school for six years (this is my seventh). I guess my thirteen years in the classroom aren't much of an accomplishment when compared to the life of a tabloid-television producer.
