Whiteline adjustable sway bars explained

Great video, I have a question regarding the lateral lock links you provide. I have them on my rear sway bars (which are whiteline as well) but I had a look under the car today and there the right one is not sitting exactly flush againsts the bushing. Just wanted to check if this was correct or was the lateral lock link meant to sit on both sides right up against the bushing?

finally know how to make it stiffer. I love this sway bar on my Civic 02 I took it from an RSX 02 and made it fit !
