i know so many people who simply dismiss bono out of cynicism or some misguided punk rock ethos. whatever. his legacy will speak for itself. and, as he points out, its not about him ... its about hungry people and rich nations and closing that gap. this message is real christianity, and so needed in these times

wow, how does this man keep his cool ??? incredibly well controlled response. he seemed to even win over the hard-case interviewer. did bono meet the PM after this interview ? if so, how'd it go ?

No - he never met the Prime Minister who was a jerk anyway. We now have a different Prime Minister thank goodness :)
