Bob Dylan visited recently as part of a regular tour, apparently no-one else in the tour group recognised him at the time. He was said to be enthralled and touched by the experience. Who knows what he was thinking about while he was there..maybe the passing of time, old friends, lost youth...when they were kings of the world..
I went there in May, it was absolutely amazing! John's bedroom was so cool, you can see where he got his inspiration. What was the coolest thing?- well the tour guide at Paul's house was his twin. Im not joking, he looks exactly like him and he was very funny and very imformative! You really should go if you ever get a chance, it is very cool! I also went to Strawberry fields, Penny Lane, Abbey Road etc.. So cool! Very historic! You aren't aloud to take pictures inside but its still woth ir!!!!!
Went there last July fab! A bloke on the Nat Trust tour played McCartney tunes on the piano in Macca's front room! What a coincidence-It just happened to be Beatles Day in Liverpool. Beatles music all day at The Cavern and at the Echo Stadium concert. Cab tour to Ringo's Dingle house and went inside- had a look at George's house too, Strawberry Field ,Quarrybank school, Penny Lane, the Church fete , E. Rigby's grave,etc,-what a day!
I have been dreaming of visiting these two properties for so long. Can't wait to get inside one day and actually feel the space which Paul and John once occupied.
i went last year..i wish i could have been the only person in the house....i wanted to really absorb the surroundings...it was great though...
