This on of the few modern themes in the SF saga that takes me back to the years 1998 - 2001. Back then we actually had real video gaming and not a whole bunch of senseless FPS. It was all about gameplay and not graphics or HD.

No, but seriously, I said that to make a point, as just as there is Call of Duty BLOOP and Halo Reach in 2010; There was Street Fighter 3, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter EX, all in 1997! And that's not even going into any of the other sub genres of fightan, like Mortal Kombat ripoffs and the emerging 3D fighters.

It's Rambo! I like how Capcom makes it's characters based on real life martial artist like Fei Long is Bruce Lee, Ibuki is Lucinda Dickey from Ninja3:The Domination and those are just a few examples. I would love to see a character based on Jet Lei and his wing chun fighting style.

It would have been sweet if this game was on the Gamecube. I think more people would have played it on the GC rather than the Wii. No offense to the Wii of course. Actually, I prefer last gens consoles to this one, I mean when you had games like Marvel vs. Capcom on the Dreamcast and if this was on the Gamecube, I'd have a Dreamcast, Gamecube, and a PS2 and I'd be content for life.

Contrary my friend, the Gamecube could not support the Wi Fi Connection. It's not that often I go online to fight others (mainly because I have bad internet connection, but I'm working on it).

Despite that, the graphics are phenominal (it's never been more fun to see someone execute a hyper combo in a CG style). Besides that, the graphics are very cool & the gameplay is pretty deep. You can use the GameCube controller if you'd like.

At least that's my take on it.

@BrandnEwkid Actually, the game was developed to be played with a GCN controller. Designing it for the GCN would just limit what it can do and since you can plug your GCN controllers into a Wii anyway you might as well make it for the Wii.
