I hate Chinastyle, They make me feel sort of sick from being a huge Rooster and GetAmped (the two bands of which chinastyle formed from) .. I met GetAmped and now they have changed so much to try and fit in with the music industry when really they were better off being who they were becuase they were actually good at it

As a long time fan of Jason Bowld, it's certainly fair to say this is a far cry from TIM or Pitchshifter (which I love). But don't knock it too hard. It knows what it is and is a great example of that genre. It's very 80's! You can see (and hear) the Duran Duran influences and despite the fact that it's not really my bag (yeah baby, yeah), the drumming as usual is flawless. The four-to-floor groove in the chorus carries the track for me. Good work Jase, but don't stop the heavy sh*t!

Yeah, first time I heard the song it reminded me of Durran Durran, and the video reminds me a bit of Aha. I'm pretty sure The Police is a big influence for the band as well. This is unashamed pop-rock and it's not trying to be something it's not.
