this carried over from double dash. if you prss the acceleration button JUST as you tuch the ground after getting brought back to the stage by lakitu, you get a short speed boost (basicley, you go to your fastest speed without boosting faster)

Unlucky on the 1st lap of Maple Treeway, when you threw the bomb. You should have dropped it right in-front of the cannon, it really annoys people. xD

I should have dropped it behind me because a Bob-omb blast in that narrow passageway is inescapable and because a set of Item Boxes is just ahead.

It was explained in one of my early Mario Kart Wii videos, but it states that the people furthest behind or those with low VRs and no star rankings will mercilessly attack those with high VRs and/or star rankings should they fall behind enough to get near these people. These lower-ranking people towards the rear end of a race will use everything they can to make sure the higher-ranking person doesn't escape.

You can see this happen every time someone with a higher VR places near the bottom.

rosalina rocks i usually use her and the dragonetti,i like the course maple treeway me and my friend rider are always playing it but out of all the characters i would chose between bowser jr. or dry bowser. u did do pretty good=P

Oh and getting 9999 vr it's not really hard, it's easy if you just keep racing and I think that you can get 9999 if you want to :/, and Slick stinked in the first race, he is indeed better than what he showed in the first race

Do you think I'm capable of a 9999 VR? Yes, D007 is really good. He can play this game virtually error-free.

OMG!!!I have raced against Bash, Slick, D007(he is a beast!) I was able to win some races, but NDAD007 it's reaaaaaaaally good, I think I'm in...slick's level

Have you raced me?, in 2 9 people grand prixes D007 got 81 point, Slick 77 and I got 73, the fourth place got 44, I'm not saying I'm better than him, I'm saying that we are pretty even

I've won back to back GPs in an NDA in-house match, but I have nowhere near the consistency of Slick or D007. Winning 2 GPs means little :/

yes your right Doo7 is a great player because he knows how to use items correctly and his sneakster bike grants him both speed and accelaration at the costs of bad mini turbo and handling which he compensates by using automatic but hes mastered automatic really good.

He uses Automatic? That's a really interesting thing to know. Automatic gets a lot of hate, though mostly from people who've never tried it.

Slick seems to be a bit less lucky than D007 though. I've seen him place in the middle or towards the bottom sometimes whereas D007 seems to consistently never place below 3rd. He catches up real fast though.

I've been in an in-house race with the rest of the NDA and some guests and D007 finished last! He does have off-days and races, but it's true that he seems to have just a little bit more luck than us mortals :P
