@lyoizisi : Nope, this is actually Iranian cloth which wemon used to wear at the time of Safavi and Qajar dynasty. But, I won't be suprised to know that Ottomonal Turkish cloths were similare. there are many similarities between the two culture, as well as differences.
@Hooriran ofcourse we are the sons of the same geography and religion/culture ! by the way Qaajars and Safavids were TURKoman tribes not Persian so; this clothes are Oghuz Turkic costume not Iranian :)

Okay- you must be right.
From today- we will all throw away Persian traditions of hospitality, compassion and the sense of justice.
We will dump- Zereshkpolo, ghoremeh sabzi and Kookoo and instead have KFC everyday-
And Happy meal for special occasions.
We will ditch Omar Khayam, Ferdossi and Rumi and instead listen to what Paris Hilton has to say.

I think it is important that every human learns from his past( Our capability to refere to the past and what has happened earlier, differs us from other animals).
I see it as a rebellion symbol against, the establishment of iran today.
I am not religous or anything. But I think the part of our culture that is influenced by zoroastrism and pre-islamic iran, is much more beauriful than the part of culture that is influenced by Islam.

Although, as an Iranian I love us as we are, dynamic, constantly changing yet static and dogmatic, religious and spiritual yet materialistic and atheist, old and traditional yet modern, friendly and passionate yet hate and switch back easily. Logical and wise yet emotional and irrational. Love it or loath it we are who we are, exciting and wouldn't want it any other way.

Ur problem is that u don't understand the base they are talking about! ur problem is not in understanding the language, your problem is in understanding the concept. For example not everybody can not understand Shahname very well, it doesn't mean they dont know Persian. it is lake of knowledge on specific matter.
