wow dude. mads... rocky is so funny, he's a really special horse... ahah no but no joke.. her personality really shows through, and WOW 4th place in open training... AWSOME.
um.. you know if you have a tight core then all you need is your seat to say with he horse... heels can make you unbalanced if you lean to one side when the horse spooks because your not using your seat, your just ankering your heels.
thats so cool are you going this year too??

I don't do dressage or anything.
But i'm pretty sure you don't have to keep your heels down like you do in jumping. if you did, you wouldn't be able to give clear and correct aids.
It is important when you jump because it keeps your leg in the correct position, over the jump.
P.S. I'm not trying to be rude. =]
and none of the olympic riders do it. =]]
(at least not ALL the time.)

uhmmm, your supposed to keep your heels down(: If your horse spooks, then keeping your heels down would be a good idea.

=] (in dressage clips) I'm sure a trainer as knowledgeable as that would be able to put her heels down if she needed to when her horse spooked.
I'm not saying she has fabulous heels in jumping or anything. but she does have them down enough to do her some good if the horse spooks. =]

yes, i know, but sometimes you dont always have time, thats why you should always keep them down(:
