Inner Sleeve from beginning to end, not a song to be skipped....not too many albums like that, this is def. one of em....Street Light Shine was great too , but Inner is my fave.

White Picket Fence & Guns of the Bigoted, are kick ass also, saw them 3x together....they always rocked the stage....Loved them together, loved her in The Shirts, just love love her, shes fab on B'way, fab as a cabaret act, she can do anything, that voice, her personality, love love love <3<3<3

Actually, if you listen to the Golden-Carillo studio version and follow the lyrics this is one incredible song. And yes, Annie's voice remains untouched. The duo of Golden-Carillo had some wonderful tracks but "A Fire In New Town" was on a plane of its own -- marvelous.
