Fabulous game on the C64 and Amiga.

This soundtrack is just CHILLING. Remember first hearing it and seeing those flames get higher and higher...

well, the game isn´t weird at all, only the soundtrack. I´d like to throw a question: Are the sample voices from the final secuence of the film 2001: a space odissey? I´m not sure of it but it sounds like it was

I can hear what EonFafnir is hearing. I'm not coming off having watched the movie but this sounds like just some creative use of voices (notice how the right-channel "eeee" voice raises and lowers pitch)

Thanks for the old memories. This was a kickass game. Wish someone would bring it back or remake it. The whole God of War thing would make it topical too. Since this game had the idea first

It is being remade mate, look here on YT for 'Myth remake' (or do a Google search for the YT vid if you can't find it as it's at the top of the search results) and you will find some fantastic footage of the soon to be released (later this year at some point) PC version, and it looks and sounds stunning...check it out.

Well, the PC remake Smila & the others are doing, is a remake of the C64 version which had a different looking character to that of the Amiga version anyway, so really they haven't changed anything. Since it's a remake of the original C64 version of Myth, then the main guy looks ordinary, with jeans, trainers etc, same as he looked on C64, if they'd have used the warrior looking dude from the Amiga, then I suppose it'd be a remake of the Amiga version if you get what I mean. Looks ace anyway :-D
