  • It adds a spring that adds more trigger pull weight and more parts that aren't really needed for the firing function. Sometimes more is not better.

  • What are the disadvantages of the auto takedown? Why did you disable it?

  • Where did you purchase the parts, as we don't sell a slide lock spring. Generally, when the slide doesn't lock back, the thumb is on top of the release. The slide release is activated by the magazine follower hitting the nub that is on the lever and pushing it up.

  • Last week I installed your precision trigger kit and trigger bar with the aid of your videos(which were very helpful). I also replaced the slide lock spring which I ordered with the kit to get free shipping:) I just took the pistol to the range today to finally test fire it. I was very pleased with the change to the trigger travel/weight/reset. The only thing that puzzled me was that the slide would not lock back after the last shot on every magazine. Any ideas what could be the problem?

  • The front rails in the locking block are steel and take most of the forces. The rear rails are polymer.

  • are both sets of rails on the frame reinforced with metal or is one set metal and one set plastic?
