By the same token I have seen the same companies who are engaged in shipping out jobs are the ones that hire few home professionals to avoid the stigma. Obama is spending billions, and the jobs created will be shipped by these companies who will be able to bid the lowest. If this is not stopped, the damage will be permanent. Unlike previous economic cycles, we are not witnessing recovery, it is due to the massive outsourcing which did not exist in previous economic cycles.

Americans are lazy while Indians are more creative and better able to handle more work under pressure. We are not exploited, just faster and not always complaining about work. Further, we have the most PHDs, the most young people who can create better IT software compared to any other country. Creativity is one of the key components missing from Indians, which seems to be based on their culture. They take commands for tasks, but are not good at developing solutions on their own. As an IT worker, I can tell you that with very few exceptions, the skills of Indian IT workers are vastly inferior to American IT workers.

The only reason why U.S. companies are giving IT jobs to India is because they will work for peasant wages. Even when the jobs are "onshored", it is because visa-abusive Indian workers will do the job for about 50% the salary of American workers. Indians are so greatful to come to the U.S., take a job at 50% the salary of U.S. workers, while badmouthing the U.S. and its workers, all because India is such an impoverished, failed country.

porasjeedimetla, If it were true that India has the most educated young people, then Indians would not be coming the U.S. in record numbers over the last several years and attend AMERICAN universities! If Indians produced such smart people, more of them would be attending universities in India. The increased education of Indians over the last several years is only due to them being educated in AMERICAN schools.

No other job sector in the U.S. has been offshored to India than in IT, which requires strong math skills. For the last 30+ years, the U.S. has always ranked within the top 10 in high school math, while India has never come close to being near the top 10. In 2008, the U.S. came in 3rd place, while the smartest high school mathmatician in India (Utkarsh Tripathi), scored 31st!!

The problem with America is that people who have the most money have more of a say as to what happens. It's called lobbying, Paying off politicians so that certain laws get passed to benefit the rich. Reality folks, democracy in the U.S is a wet dream, it doesn't exist. Hi, I think I'm getting a handle on this. Tell me if I'm off base but would anyone oppose to an invention that would allow us to produce a widget at half the labor? Of course, the people loosing their jobs. But they would then get a different job and everyone would be better off. Exporting these jobs has the same effect as this invention. It seems to me that the real problem is the government giving unfair advantages to big business and the Federal Reserve System.
