Ray Park is pretty awesome, and was amazing as Darth Maul, but at the same time he deserves to be punished for being in Ecks VS Sever, an unforgivable heap-of-shit movie. Lets hope he gets some real work pretty soon, and that he's still on-board to play Danny in the Iron Fist movie.

The fluid/organic motion of fire is extremely hard to recreate as realistic as this, let alone being able to afford the software and plugins to do it.

The way they did it was filmed some fire stock footage (fire over a pure black background) and composited it over the top...

This looks great, but it was a little too dark, and I know that's not just my monitor. Really the only other complaint I have about it is that it looks like a dramatic Star Wars/Dragon Ball Z. Don't get me wrong, Star Wars is awesome, but the energy blast from the hands makes me think of 5th grade and after-school cartoons. Otherwise, it looks like a great flick.

my comments, for what they're worth: less posturing by the actors. The speed of the action in RvD2 was excellent. So often, the actors just take poses like their being photographed - it destroys the continuity of the moment and the illusion of reality.

Are path with what we are doing is much different than what you guys have done but the goal is the same.

Your faqs which I just watched were massively helpful in letting me know about after effects, editing programs and most importantly a good camera to shoot with.

Well you're guessing wrong. It was made with the intent to raise awareness of the project and as a proof of concept towards getting a script bought. Joey and Mike are working on a script for a movie. Not just in local theater, not straight-to-video. The script is currently not finished, therefore not yet bought by a studio ... but that doesn't mean that it will not happen.
